If you have a melee weapon equipped that uses a power cell, liquid, or other similar item, display its energy level/etc on the primary screen next to missile weapons. A lot of the time you won't even know your melee weapon has run out of charge until you go to hit something and it hits like a wet noodle.
As an advanced version of this request, but less likely to be implemented, add a context menu interaction where we can manually select items in our inventory to have their charge/liquid levels displayed on the main screen regardless of whether they're equipped or not.
A more basic version of this request, if the other two are too complex for implementation: If an equipped item runs out of charge, display a notification.
