<s.ol> Decarbonizer Beams do not highlight their beam paths in red. Instead, they tint the sprites of tiles in their path red. This is different from Lithofex gazes, Crungle Gazes, Irisdual Beams, and pretty much every other attack that works this way, and makes it extremely difficult to see where a beam is going to shoot if there aren't currently actually any creatures in its path. This can then lead to you accidentally stepping into the path of a beam right as it's going to shoot and dying instantly.
This is especially problematic as the only thing getting highlighted is the little ground dots... which can just naturally be red to begin with.
