Issue #11305
new
Marked for crossposting by: kernelmethod
Message (jump):
<kernelmethod> Detonating a non-damaging grenade (including EMP, time dilation, normality, phase, etc.) is not considered a hostile action. At least in some cases this is absolutely a ⛲ (for example: it allows you to detonate a stasis grenade on a creature that is in danger without making them hostile towards you), but for other grenades (e.g. EMP) it's harder to see a legitimate, non-aggressive use case for detonating them on neutral/friendly NPCs.
So: is it intended that all of these grenades do not trigger hostility?
(See #11304 as well, which provides the context in which discussion about this issue first arose.)
