weirdly, I’m getting this to happen somewhat consistently with clonelings, can imagine it being true of others

repro: wish feral dog, wish beguile, wish cloneling. typically the dog seems to just sit there rather than chase down the hostile cloneling, but will sometimes swing if already in range
