[#beta-bugs] Enemy actions and movement don’t update as you pick up items from the look menu
I started to pickup items via L(ook) with a snapjaw 3-4 tiles from me. I picked up a few items and the snapjaw didn’t move. So I picked up the rest. When I left the L screen, time sped up, the snapjaw got 10 free hits on me and I died. I wish the world updated between each item pickup, will be sure to only pickup one thing or nothing when enemies are close— Learnings for next time.

I believe the same thing occurs with inventory actions, would imagine there’s a way to nicely blend micro actions and world actions regardless of which UI (look or inventory) is being interacted with-- such that it can be easily understood what happens in the world around the character between the player’s micro actions
