If you rebind Autoexplore to "*" you will only explore one tile.

Rebound the autoexplore button from “Num 0” to “*” which led to one tile being explored per button press.
I tested other keys such as “PgUp” which do not seem to have this issue.

After looking into the rest of the keybinds this issue seems to be related to a conflict with the cycle sidebar mode command as autoexplore works properly when it is unbound.
