<zayex9555> Had a strange death. Was spelunking about 20 strata down. Found a flaming tar pits screen. Explored, cleared it. Walk toward the next stair, instantly vaporized. No warning, no enemy, not on fire. I went back and checked that area for mines, and nothing (no mine layer on the screen). Explored very slowly to find anything that would kill me. Walk to a random tile, instantly vaporized. Same story; no enemies (screen was cleared), no warning, not on fire.

I ended up testing the area much more interestedly, and it happened a few more times. I narrowed it down to one tile that instantly killed me. Nothing there. I eventually found that if I entered that tile from a different direction, I was set on fire at a decently high temp. Nothing close to vaporizing though. No artifact mentioned, nothing in the action log that told me what caused it.

This was a couple days ago and I've played on since then, so let me know if what's needed isn't in what I attached.
