Considerin’ becoming nooks come from the time of eaters (iirc?) and eaters come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and materials, it feels weird that becoming a multifaceted crystal makes the nook confused as to how install cybernetics.

Or growing eldritch arms from murderizing a progenitor of shape and affixing their glorious light upon your self.
