New UI equipment list column navigation issue [and trade menu]

Using the ‘List’ view in the new UI Inv&Eq menu gives two columns, but when navigating between the columns with Left and Right, instead of just moving to the left or right, the selector moves back to the last place it was in a column. Makes navigation unintuitive and clunky, imo.

Edit: realized this applies to the new trade menu as well, so maybe it’s intentional. Feels counterintuitive to me, having used the old trade menu and spreadsheets a lot, where the cursor moves horizontally, instead of remembering its position in each column.
