i haven't noticed any type of tiles, it's specific locations on specific maps, when i step on those locations, the tattoo color turns off. for example when i go down the stairs in yd to the place with the becoming nook, the tattoo color will turn off on the stair tile, and one tile north, then turn back on if i go another tile north. this is completely reproducible on this save. which tiles seem to be completely random, sometimes the color will be correct for every tile on an entire map, sometime completely off, sometimes some tiles on a map it will be on and some will be off.
