MacOS Alt-tab weird attributes menu behavior

Upon first alt-tabbing out of game, the attributes menu will repeatedly pop-up even upon pressing escape, behavior isn’t present if you remain focused in the game from launch. If you alt-tab on the main menu and then load a save, then the same behavior occurs. I’m on version 2.0.207.103 and have no mods installed, and I am playing in windowed mode with VSync disabled.
