• The sidebar message log is blank after reloading the game. I would expect it to show recent messages even after a reload, similar to the console sidebar.
• The sidebar size and position is not preserved after reloading the game. I would expect it to be preserved because, for instance, I like to play with it resized to only half of its normal height, so it doesn't take up so much of the screen.
• top drag bar and the bottom right resize box are very difficult to see. It took me a while to realize there even was a bottom-right box that allowed me to resize the sidebar.

• The sidebar is not hidden when the player holds ALT. I would expect it to be hidden when pressing ALT, because ALT is used to find stairways and other important objects (which might be hiding under the sidebar). The console sidebar does get hidden when holding ALT.

• The sidebar is not cleared of messages when you save/quit and then load a different character. It still shows messages from the other character/game.

• Enhancement request: Move the scrollbar to the right side of the sidebar when the sidebar is on the right side of the screen. Right now the scrollbar is always on the left side of the sidebar, so it blocks your view more when the sidebar is on the right side of the screen (because it’s not transparent)

• Enhancement request: Add a button to the prelease stage UI to open the full message log (either on the sidebar itself or in the top bar with the other buttons). For new players in particular, CTRL+M is not an immediately obvious feature.
