Tomb of the Eaters final segment various bugs

SPOILERS!

After disabling the Spindle and resurfacing, the Repulsive Device (item involved in Fraying Favorites) was not among my items. I had not chosen to use it yet. Not sure if it has to do with the next big bug I encountered, but:

After retrieving my stuff I immediately traveled to Grit Gate via recoiler and attempted to go downstairs to Barathrum's study. It redirected me to the ''Barathrum's floor'' in the northeast corner instead (where one can go deeper into Grit Gate).
I went back upstairs using the stairs nearby and hustled back over to Barathrum's downstair entry again. No response.
Went back to the northeast corner and went down a level (so then I was back on Barathrum's floor but not in his room). I decided to try the stairs down from in there. It immediately teleported me into Barathrum's staircase, and there was a copy of my character completely solid on said staircase. At the very least, I could go talk to Barathrum and finish the quest (huzzah!) but the steps were permanently sealed off. This dialogue appeared in the action list upon that teleport into Barathrum's actual study: [Well, the player managed to end a segment with no current cell and that's not ideal so I'm going to return the player to a cell on the current map.]
Upon recoiling back out, I tried ol' Bara's stairs again. No dice. Went down a level from the northeast corner. There was now a copy of myself on those downwards stairs too.

Strange stuff but wow that last segment was awesome.
