Domination Broken by Clone getting injured

While exploring Bethesda Susa with a Beguile/Domination build, I was exploring a level with a dominated follower. Meahwhile a Chromeling meandered up and cloned my actual character’s motionless body, which I left standing at the staircase ready for a speedy getaway (just in case). My clone then proceeded to wander around and get injured by a Cragmensch. This broke my domination and I found myself in control of the Clone instead of the original me, which I found still standing at the staircase where I first dominated my follower.

I went to a backup of the game just before this bug occurred so I could keep exploring Bethesda Susa with this character and found another odd behavior with Domination. This time my original body was standing near some sleep gas when I wandered off with my Dominated follower. My original body (source body?) fell asleep, at which point I’m thinking the domination should have been broken, but instead my character woke up a few turns later and then the AI kicked in and my source character began changing equipment and injected himself with a Hulk Honey. The damage from the Hulk Honey broke the domination and brought me back to my body.
