Freezing ray mutation stopped working after consuming cloaca surprise

What the title says. When I become a slug and tried using my freezing ray ability it gave the message "Your Hands are too damaged for that!" When I used the wish command to remove the mutation and re-add it the problem was fixed. It seems something about the transformation bugs out the ray mutations
