This isn’t fixable without redesigning how normality fields work; a norm core mk iii will create 16**2 normality fields, each of which ticks every turn, every tenth turn, and every hundredth turn, for an average of ~1.11 times per turn. While this isn’t too bad in a zone while calculating one turn at a time, on the world map some characters and zones can combine for 9000 segment travel times, meaning 900 turns; that’s 999*(16**2)=255744 ticks being calculated as fast as possible. This is on top of
#6231leading to an excessive number of events being created during this.
