<exsanguination microtubules> Not necessarily a bug, but after spending a lot of time trying to document PV on the wiki on pages like https://cavesofqud.gamepedia.com/PV (which doesn't even touch on some things, like arrow stat display), I can say that there is a great amount of confusing inconsistency between how PV is displayed for melee weapons, thrown weapons, missile weapons, and projectiles.
It would be great if there was a more consistent design philosophy for showing this information to players. Just a few thoughts/suggestions:
• Show the relevant stats (and hide any other stats) when an item is equipped in a melee, thrown, or missile weapon slot
• Maybe consider different colored PV arrows for thrown/melee/missile PV? Right now there's no easy way to know if something is showing you thrown weapon PV or melee PV, for instance.
• Do something completely different for arrows, because they're super confusing. Maybe don't show anything in their display name (only in their description) but update the bow based on what's loaded in it?

A related issue is that the displayed PV for weapons in game is actually 4 higher than the real value. This is confusing especially when juxtaposed against vibro, which says “this weapon’s penetration value is equal to the defender’s armor value”. But from the perspective of what we show in game for all other weapons, that claim is a lie, vibro PV would be shown as the defender’s armor value plus 4. Perhaps penetration should show it’s real value in the in-game display (like →1 instead of →5) or something else should be done to reduce this confusion.
