cooking bug, stuck with effects

While going through Bethesda Susa I cooked a meal using convalessence and gained the 'breathe ice' ability, with the corresponding 'icy vapor' on my face. I didn't notice it until a while after it probably happened but I found that the 'metabolizing' status effect had ended and I still had the 'icy vapor' on my face along with 'breathe ice' in the abilities menu. Selecting the 'breathe ice' ability does nothing. I was able to get the icy vapor off my face with the 'unequip' wish, but the broken ability is still there.
