Follower Primary Limb/ AI equip routine

Follower primary limb selection seems to prioritize highest PV(note sure) which leads to:

  1. cases(always in my experience) where they select horns, bite, stinger and the like as primary limb. Problem is, for example, I recruited Indrix to dismember faces on his own for me but he can't since his horns are short swords. And when I dominate him while in combat, I can't switch to his axe. I resorted to wishing his horns off. But before I discovered this workaround, I avoided followers that have natural weapons/mutations like these and avoided buying such mutations.

  2. followers using anything over vibro weapons. This made me want to reach out since I can't find a workaround for this. I want my Svenlainard to use a CVK on his main hand to avoid having to micromanage his weapons depending on enemy AV. But he always picks something else as his main hand/weapon but I haven't tested very low tier weapons, only down to fullertie. I could resort to giving him: a. CVKs but jab won't work, b. vibro daggers but managing batteries is inconvenient since they won't refill blood batteries c. low tier weapons(not even sure about this)

  3. followers choosing to have no gloves over having gesticulating gloves when there's something to equip in the floating nearby slot. But they also would switch to an unmodded glove instead.

  4. followers switching to weapons that they are unskilled with. Sometimes they switch to a different weapon from the same tier for some reason.

  5. limiting what items I can make them carry to avoid these problems.

So.. yeah.. These thing make my current playthrough really frustrating/tedious for me and probably some other players. Maybe an on/off toggle for AI equip routine would solve all these? or a lock slot mechanic? I hope I don't seem demanding.

A quick bandaid for this in 201.57: The AV/MA (if mental weapon stat) of the wielder is used to calculate the adaptive penetration scoring.
