Unarmed proposal #2 - could the spiked mod cover gauntlets as well as shields?

Would it be possible to add gauntlets to the spiked mod so that True Kin going unarmed could add a bleed effect to their punches? If not, would it be possible to add another tinker recipe that allows for this?

As of right now, the range of spiked gauntlets is limited to, well, one item: spiked gauntlets.
