<Schemasoft [high-tier]> Lava can be safely stored in a container so long as it doesn't leave the inventory. Pouring 7 drams of lava into a waterskin does not cause it to ignite. Filling a waterskin with lava will cause it to ignite, but the flames can be fought off before the waterskin breaks. It will not reignite in the inventory. If dropped on the ground while filled with lava the container will ignite. I tried canteens, waterskins, and glass bottles.
