[beta] Crack in pond in Joppa can be deleted, possibly by the new water tracks?

In this savefile I came up out of the watery crack in the pool in Joppa, traded some things to Tam, and the crack didn’t exist anymore when I walked back. Not sure if it was overwritten by liquid tracks, or whether it was considered eligible for evaporation somehow, or something more arcane.
