Proselytized / water ritualed followers lost upon fast travel

When I gain a follower through Proselytize or water ritual, they do not come with me if I go to the world map or use a recoiler. They will follow only if traveling on foot overland. Beguiled followers do follow when fast traveling.

I'm playing the stable branch. Someone else in the Steam forum let me know this issue has been fixed in the beta.
