<Blink> This isn't really a bug, I just wanted to say that the game does a bad job of explaining that you need to go talk to Q-Girl before going to bethesda susa. I always forget and have to go through the whole dungeon again. It would be really helpful if the game had an extra pop-up telling you that you Have To go talk to her right away, or maybe just have her be the one the quest is turned in to instead of Otho. It's not-great quest flow design, as it stands.

I can’t agree that the game does a bad job here. Otho tells you what to do, and the quest step appears in your quest log; shouldn’t that be enough?

Also, I don’t see that having the quest turned in to Q-Girl would really help. You’d still have to remember to talk to her before going to Bethesda Susa.

If there’s a problem here at all (but I don’t think there is), the solution is probably to cut out the Q-Girl step entirely and just have Otho hand over the data-disk with the instructions already encoded.

rather than address the wording itself, i’m just going to say i agree that there is a problem here and the problem is that it’s not uncommon for players to head off to bethesda susa without having received the data disk. personally it’s happened to me more than once even despite knowing that that is something that the quest requires, and i’ve heard tales of it from other players on multiple occasions
