If you Metamorphosis a follower you become a follower

Sort of anyhow, the game doesn’t force you to obey their commands or anything But you can’t leave the same level as your owner/leader and there are probably other consequences as well.

The mechanism for this is pretty weird and I actually thought I’d encountered a much worse/weirder bug originally until I realized I’d metaed a follower. If you try to move out of area you’ll teleport nearby your leader.

(I said owner/leader but I haven’t actually tested this with the various kind of party leaders, If there are different codepaths for different types of party leaders then fwiw I encountered this when I metaed a snapjaw who was following a legendary snapjaw.)
