<Jade Puppydogs Harley> i cured glotrot in stage 2 (the one where you can tear open the tender fibres) with the flaming ick (i got the special message) and it not only didn't give me the achievement (not sure if that only happens if it progresses to the 'no tongue' stage) but my look menu doesn't mention either a sore throat/glotrot but my character's tongue still tears open/water gets putrified while drinking occasionally. Enough time has passed that it should have continued to the tongue rotted out stage if my character still had glotrot, but nothing has happened. (lmk if im missing anything, this is my first weird bug that ive thought to post about)

Ash: It seems the above, the glotrot not being cured, was because a source of tongue regeneration is still needed to stave off the disease fully, even if the tongue hasn't rotted out yet. If that's the case, it needs to be clearer what you need to do to fix the problem, in corpus choliys and maybe also when you drink the flaming ick.

The book seems to indicate the ick purges the mouth from the disease, so having a slightly torn tongue adding putrescence to the water doesn’t make much sense. The tongue might also just heal over time, depends on how rough y’all think early glotrot is.

If you drank the flaming ick but haven’t regenerated tongue yet, stop the putrescence
