<rockygr> lithofexes can cause unexpected/unfair deaths when they focus their gaze out of your field of vision; the only cue is a red effect, that can certainly be hard to notice because you/the tiles around can become bloodstained. The current warning is good, but only works when you can see the lithofex in the first place. I think some kind of status or a warning would be great when they're out of sight.
