Grit Gate Crash

Love the game, but slight problem. After finding Pax Klanq, returning to Grit Gate straight up crashes my game. I tried recoiling there, entering through the side, finishing the puff quest, tried doing it without light to see if it was a texture thing but they all result in steam turning off the window. There are no mods loaded and I am unsure if this happens on other runs of the game because sadly, this was my farthest playthough. Absolutely everything else works as intended, but Grit Gate Crashes upon entry.
