<Pitfriend> I didn't notice the knickknack quest was bugging until I came back with the wires. When I came back to Argyve I was only given the option to give him a knickknack, which upon choosing I would lose. Then I would get the option to take the wire quest. Upon choosing the option neither the knickknack quest would become completed nor would I get the wire quest (probably because I already got it). When talking to Argyve again he would again ask for a knickknack (because it that quest didn't complete). I'm able to give him an infinite amount of artifacts but doing so gives me no rewards.
I'm trying out a character with Metamorphosis mutation. I don't remember being metamorphosed at any time when talking to him but it could have happened.
Might as well mention another possible bug about metamorphosis at this point: I morphed into a snapjaw and attacked other snapjaws while their friends watched. Only the attacked snapjaw would fight back. I tried this only as a legendary snapjaw.
