Message (jump):
<illuminatiswag> Intravenous ports stack unintuitively. The first port will indeed double the duration of tonics - on a base of ~20 turns, it will go to ~40 turns for an increase of 20 - but each additional port will add an additional ~40 turns. I would expect that something that says it doubles the duration of tonics to either multiply the duration by 2 and stack exponentially (with N ports multiplying the duration by 2^N), or to add +100% to the duration of the tonic and stack additively (with N ports multiplying the duration by N+1). Instead, the first port adds 100%, and further ports add 200% - so it is nonlinear between the first and second port, but linear afterwards.

Let’s have each one just add D = the initial tonic duration.
