Swipe and lunge don't necessarily use the dominant hand to attack

My current character has their left hand as their primary arm but when they swing/lunge they use the weapon in my right hand for the attack. I’m not sure if this was always the case or if it was caused by having my arm(s) cut off while dominating a follower.
