brainfire tested if you just copied the bits over to the new body:
tested and it seems to be copied after all: started new game as artifex, had enough scrap for 2xC and 2xD, disassembled them, learned a recipe that uses CD, wished in a cloneling + domination mutation, got cloned + dominated, moved to another screen, crafted 2 grenades, checked that stocks of C and D were now at 0, ended domination, i now have 2xC and 2xD again
(actually the bits were B and C, oops)
