<helado de arsplice> i had a nintendo switch pro controller connected by usb and recognized by steam, and despite not pressing any buttons on it, the game would insist on proceeding directly to the character creation menu from the main menu, even when i told it to go back. the config was fresh other than having additional ui elements enabled and mouse controls enabled. disconnect the controller stopped the problem from happening
