Shouldn't clones of villagers also be villagers?

By chance, the same behavior happened in one of my runs: https://i.vgy.me/KfXGxV.png The dervish next to the cloneling is a denizen of the Yd Freehold (friendly), and the clone made by a cloneling is a Seeker of the Sightless Way (hostile).
