Marked for crossposting by: the hoary demon helado
Message (jump):
<Grace, adequately entropic being> Algal water is listed as having a cooking effect (presumably because pure algae is extremely hard to obtain), but cannot actually be cooked with.
Expected behavior: to be able to cook with algal water, since its description says it creates simple plant-based effects when cooked with.
Actual behavior: it does not appear on the ingredients list.
Steps to replicate: have a waterskin full of algal water. Attempt to cook with it. Find it's not on the ingredients list. Despair.

I can cook with algal water just fine. but can we take a dram of algae out of the component mixture each time, until no algae is left? (or w/e liquid ingredient is being cooked with)

It currently just takes a dram out of the total liquid. I could make it extract specifically the liquid(s) with cooking effects, but that seems kind of odd – then cooking would be letting us purify cookable liquids out of mixtures?
