[beta-bugs] Achievements Not being awarded

I cloned Ctesiphus, but did not receive [beta] Two Cats Are Better Than One. I have traveled to the Six Day Stilt on several occasions on both old and new files and still have not received [beta] May the Ground Shake But the Six Day Stilt Never tumble. I have also convinced the High Priest of the Stilt to join my party, but I did not get [beta] Mechanimist Reformer. I don't know if this is a problem with each individual achievement or with them in general so sorry if I should've made separate reports for each one.

Hmm, going to need more specifics on what you tried to do for each achievement, and make sure you’re actually on the beta branch (current version 2.0.203.7 visible in main menu) and launching the game through Steam.

How did you clone Ctesiphus? Cloning draught, cloneling, space inverter?

Did you travel to the stilt before/after accepting the quest “O Glorious Shekhinah!”? (this was a bug fixed in 203.4 if you’re on an old version)

How did you recruit the high priest? Proselytize, beguile, water ritual?

In %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Freehold Games\CavesOfQud you can find a local Achievements.json which’s written regardless of your connection to steam, you can examine it yourself (IDs: ACH_CLONE_CTESIPHUS, ACH_SIX_DAY_STILT, ACH_RECRUIT_HIGH_PRIEST) or post it here. If it turns out you’re not on the beta, it won’t be there.

I cloned Ctesiphus using cloning draught. I attempted traveling to the stilt before and after accepting the quest “O Glorious Shekhinah!” quest on the beta version 2.0.203.7 and did not recieve it, but after testing it again I did get it so I don’t know what happened the first few times. For the high priest I did it by water ritual.

I checked the files and the option is there, but it is not marked as true for the cloning of Ctesiphus and having the high priest join my party.

Those both have in common that they’d need a new save/rebuild of the map if you’d visited them before the achievements were implemented, or if you upgraded a weekly save to beta.

Could try using wishes to rebuild Joppa and the Stilt with only minor side effects and make your attempt afterwards.
