Could True Kin learn to cook Cloaca Surprise, as a treat?

Playing as a True Kin horticulturist from daily run 3/14/2022. I have the option, when treating with Slog, to learn to cook Cloaca Surprise. If I choose it, though, the game says "True kin cannot digest this meal." It does not consume any reputation, nor does the option get grayed out, but I just can't learn it.

Could TK learn Cloaca Surprise, even if they can't eat it or cook it? Like as a shareable recipe? If not, could you just gray out the option after the player tries to select it? Thank you!

This sounds more confusing; you pay for a recipe you can’t use.
