<eva problems, telemagenta wraith> scroll wheel behavior on the message log overlay window is inconsistent. hovering over the window to scroll its message log does not always immediately work. i have to first either click on the window to give it focus or occasionally jimmy the scroll bar with a manual click-and-drag first before it recognizes that i want to hover over the window and scroll through the log with my scroll wheel.

player.log starts with an endgame roleplay character running several mods and who started several patches ago - for that character the scroll wheel just didn’t work and manually click-and-dragging the message log overlay window’s scroll bar didn’t actually move through messages. towards the bottom i started a new character in classic mode with no mods to see if i could replicate that behavior. i couldn’t, but i still ran into the above issue. notably (to me, a laywoman), both characters had this message show up in their log, though it happened a whole lot more with the older modded character than the fresh one:
