Caves of Qud - More than a Willing Spirit objectives not completing

I’ve gone to the bottom of Golgotha, collected the scrapped waydroids, repaired them in inventory, and I still have none of the quest objectives beyond “Travel to Golgotha” marked as completed. I have three dormant waydroids in my inventory, but talking to the speaker in grit gate behaves as though I have none. I’ve tried wishing for another scrapped waydroid and repairing it, both in inventory and via a vendor, and neither had any effect on the quest.

Possible contributing factor: I’m currently playing as a stranded mind after my original body died while dominating another character. I got the quest while in my original body. Could be related? I did have a clone of my old body available, and tried dominating that and picking up a waydroid, but no change to the quest. Is there any way for me to continue at this point?
