Message (jump):
<Noelle Lavenza (transgendeer)> Creatures with Force Bubble intentionally try to trap at least one ally in their bubble, potentially including the player. This is inconvenient. Not using it if the player is adjacent (or not counting the player in the AnyAdjacent check) might improve QOL for characters with temporal fugue and the force bubble mutation.

Hum, believe’s just a case of misunderstanding the disassembly of ForceBubble@384 and extrapolating from there

Ah, yeah, the specific explanation is incorrect, now that I look at it—but a lot of people have reported their fugue clones trapping them regardless, which shouldn’t be possible. Looking back on it, I think a lot of the instances reported were actually Force Wall, which lacks this check.

That makes more sense, we were very confused in triage how anyone'd be intentionally trapped in a force bubble
had to test it with hoshaiah because it was written with such conviction
Historically we've avoided making temporal fugue too convenient because it's already one of the strongest mutations as is and clones using your abilities in less than ideal ways is its one downside (discussion during
), but'll let brian decide if this specific case is actionable.#3518 - Log in to comment
