Message (jump):
<SamV> I hit the 'f' key to fire my shortbow and instead of the targeting x locking onto the nearest target (which was the horned chameleon two squares south of my location) it created a line of red dots going to a red box that was where my mouse pointer was located on the screen despite me not using the mouse at that moment. The game then locked up and did not respond to input like hitting the ESC key or trying to move the targeting to the enemy using the movement keys. It stayed unresponsive for about 30 seconds and then closed the targeting window giving me back control at the main game screen. I hit 'f' again and it acted like it normally does, putting the targeting box onto the nearest enemy and letting me fire the bow. I have not been able to recreate this problem unfortunately.

this is an issue i run into constantly fwiw. the problem is the cursor is too close to the boundary between tiles and so it queues several movements of the X. the longer the cursor stays there the more movements it queues and the longer it takes to respond
