Bugged clones with follower-like behavior after permanent body swap

I might describe this wrong but I'll do my best. I found a lair of a legendary ichor merchant with cloning draught in their inventory. First I dominated the merchant, bought cooking with their skill points, and cooked the cloning draught to make multiple merchant clones. I waited for the merchant to stop budding before I ended domination. Then, I waited for domination to come off cooldown and permanently body swapped to one of the clones. The clone seems to have retained some follower-like behaviors and can't leave the merchant's lair, going up the stairs teleports me back to the original merchant. As far as I can tell this soft locks the game.
