<Soron> found a dupe bug, which is a bit complicated:
the setup involves an item pile which includes an item which would put the player over their weight limit, and an identical item in their inventory (I suspect this is because it needs to be able to stack with it, but haven't tested that).
after that, if you use ctrl+space to open the item interaction menu on the item pile, select the aforementioned item (exceeds weight limit, already got one in your inventory), press E for manual equip (rather than auto), and then use esc to close the dialogue without equipping it, a duplicated copy of the item will end up in the player's inventory. it seems to duplicate exactly 1 copy, regardless of how many items are in the stack on the ground.
I've tested this for sure with fullerite plate, bronze longswords, and salve injectors (weightless; the player has to be over their limit already for the dupe to happen with injectors).
this is convoluted enough that it probably wouldn't be much of an issue, except that I don't know of any simpler way to get valuable-but-heavy items (e.g., fullerite plate) to show on top of unbutcherable corpses, and it's hard to keep track of what items to come back for later looting after a large battle. i.e., I was doing this complicated process to mark item piles as "loot this later", and ended up duping more fullerite plate than I should've had. (I'll post a separate follow-up message with a QOL request related to that; I've been meaning to do so for a little while, and this is good impetus for it)
