<Oddity> I've been thinking lately about the way the Putus Templar are written/described and have been feeling a little dissatisfied. I understand their depiction as Habsburgian figures on account of their obsession with "purity," but I feel like the description weighs far more heavily on those defects than the reason behind them, and it feels like it vilifies those traits directly rather than just the means that produced them. I do recall pointing out the issue with associating the genocidal zealots with scoliosis a while ago, and I imagine it discomforts others as well. Especially seeing the changes made to Kyakukya recently-ish, I feel like the templar represent something equally in need of alteration.

Looks descriptions are grounded in physicality, with some exceptions. There’s a whole picture being painted here throughout the game so I’m comfortable with this.
