steps to recreate: pilot the golem around on the world map
have the golem get lost in a parasang
have quicksave activate as you exit the gundam and get up from the pilot seat
leave the gundam
quit without saving
your game will start to load, but you will be sent back to the main menu screen with "thawing zone" present underneath. none of the menu options will be accessible by mouse or key bindings. when your game loads, but you will be unable to move or access any menus, including the escape menu. turns will pass automatically, and you will only be prompted for hunger changes. your thirst will also tick down constantly during this time.
due to this bug triggering immediately after a saving, any save file this occurs on will be rendered unplayable.
