<A Blessed Feline> After trying out the new UI for a bit, I have some feedback:

  1. The buttons highlighted in orange should really be togglable, the things they do can already be done with keybinds and they do nothing for people who aren't using mouse controls

  2. The areas highlighted in blue take up unnecessary space. Ideally, I feel like no space should be right over when the log is dragged all the way to the right to maximise the size of the gameplay window itself.

  3. The thing highlighted in purple seems to be a stray part of the message log scroll bar that isn't going away.

  4. The "[f] fire [r] reload [fresh]" in the weapon box (highlighted in yellow) serve no purpose at present and seems really unnecessary. Wouldn't it be better to put the weapon's name here?

  5. The bottom abilities bar (highlighted in red) ltakes up way too much space compared to other elements, and serves no purpose at present. I wish we'd have a way to see the cooldowns of our abilities on it and toggle which abilities appear on it, as well as toggle its size and whether it appears at all

  6. The width of the message log seems to reset each time you exit and restart the game, meaning that you need to drag it back to the right every time to maximize the game window

  7. The way that the game screen suddenly shifts to cover the whole screen when you for instance learn a Sultan secret and then shifts back when you close the popup is kinda disorienting at times.

  8. The new UI seems to lack the box that displays the items that you're currently standing on top of, or at the very least I haven't found a way to enable it.

  9. The way that the look box in the new UI fades in rather than simply being there is kinda distracting when looking over a swathe of terrain in the world map

Major agree on point 1 and 4. I don’t need buttons and I don’t need reminders of what my hotkeys are so I’d like the ability to turn the buttons off (no preference on whether that extends the HP/level bar or if it’s just blank space without having seen how either would look) and for the ammo/battery counter area to only show those aspects.
