I couldn't reproduce on a brand new save and doesn't seem to be everywhere, but my current save has very clear slowdown in the river svy when you auto explore inside a river there and it is VERY obvious in the floor before the trolls and their own respective floors even outside the convalescence pools. I had some very bad slowdowns in Yd city too in the first floor, which cleared after a while but is still not as fast as other maps.
