Goat in sweet leaf breaks inventory [BETA 2.0.204.42]

When I learn psychometry at Erza from the oven, my inventory completley breaks, the popup for items does not appear when you press space and trying to hit a known hotkey turns the inventory into a map screen, with log and the ability to zoom.

The bug wears off when you finish metabolizing, I assume it has somthing to do with it adding the additional option to the item menu dynamically? as it does NOT occur if you take the mutation at character creation.

Not sure if its a my machine problem or just a corrupt save I have included a picture along with the save file.
