Maybe make a bin icon square for it over on the right or something, somewhere out of the way. It feels way too easy to click by accident where it is (and someone just had that experience), even despite the confirmation window, given that you're asked to confirm for mod changes etc as well when you load a save.

slightly different issue but related to this, rather than having individual deletion prompts for every character, there could be a bulk “select for deletion” button, to pare down on clicks and time spent going through prompts.

as long as it shows every name that you’re about to delete (so you don’t have to go back and manually check), it could actually cut down substantially on user error deletions, which are really unfun, while also making it faster for people with test characters to clean up their saves after checking things in game.
