Level up from Brightsheol conversation lost when returning

I entered Brightsheol through the questline as normal, at level 34.

Completing the conversation and quest step with Rainwater Shomer, I got enough XP to hit level 35, but awoke at Gyl the same level I entered the burial tomb. 2500 xp from "Disable the Spindle's Magnetic Field" I'm not sure you ever get to keep that xp.

Kinda weird behaviour though everything in brightsheol is temporary

I also got a rename prompt when I leveled up in Brightsheol but not when I did shortly after back in Qud but I understand less about what prompts those, so idk
